This past Saturday was my older sister Sara's 23rd birthday which meant of course we had to plan a family outing. That morning we went to a restaurant that serves yummy breakfast and lunch called Doodles. It was so delicious and the service was great. It's on the corner of North Limestone and East Third Street and is open 10-2 Tuesday through Sunday. Whether it's for a birthday brunch, or a bite to eat on a lazy Sunday, I highly recommend it! After Doodles, we headed across the street to Third Street Stuff to grab some coffee. I love this coffee shop because it's native to Lexington and is so unique and different. Their coffee and bakery items are delicious, so if you need a pep in your step before work or class, head on over to Third Street Stuff.
As you can tell I have some major print going on up top. This shirt is definitely on the brighter side and the print is loud, but I absolutely adore it! I recently got it at H&M for 7 bucks! Yeah you read that correctly; 7 bucks! You'll come to find out that I am a major bargain shopper and am always on the hunt for a great deal. Anyways, I styled this button up with one of my favorite pair of tom girl jeans from American Eagle, and my new shoes from Express that I have been obsessing over. I'm not big on mixing big patterns so that's why I kept it simple with dark wash jeans and nude heels. Don't let loud patterns scare you away. Yes there cases where it's simply styled wrong and can steal the spotlight from the person wearing the piece; However, if you style it correctly it could potentially be your new favorite staple piece. Now get to styling!
